Went to the Miller & Carter Steakhouse in Solihull last night and
was very disappointed. Service was very slow with the meal taking three
hours. Went in search of good steak and was very let down. Two of us had
the T-Bone. It was small and the meat very fatty. Another of us had the
fillet and it was not cooked properly. At an average of £40 per head it
was not value for money

The steaks here are gorgeous - cant beat the ribeye, and the Sirloin
is beautiful! Me and the missus have been here loads of times now and
never had a disappointing meal - service is always friendly and the
staff are very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. They only
fill as many tables at the staff can comfortably cover, so quite often
you'll see empty tables, but its to guarantee that you get good
service. I'm quite surprised to see so many bad reviews to be honest.
Not the cheapest place I've been to, but personally speaking I can't
fault the place.

Definitely not recommended. A steakhouse, but no premium steak
options available and that on Mothers Day? No Porterhouse, no T-bone,
nothing and no notice before hand, only until drinks are ordered and
order taken. Alternate choice of full-rack ribs, more like half-rack at
full price and tasteless. Baked potato over-cooked. Crammed like
sardines to maximise intake. First and last time.

4 meals, 2 steaks very tough 1 went back (the other person didn't
want to wait). Nice atmosphere, nice waiter. Overpriced, and no
acknowledgement of my letter of complaint, they couldn't care less.
Would hesitate to recommend.

Food quality acceptable, but arrived cold, and had to go back. Nice
atmosphere, staff ok but I would say very overpriced. My advice - pay
20% more and get 10 times better down at The Oak.
